Space Planning Team Leader

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Maximizing store sales and profit productivity through Space Management
  • Providing analysis for cross-departmental changes of space to pursuing maximum return on investment, making proposals on space plan layout and micro planning
  • Ensuring seasonal changes of space maximize trading opportunities and including robust process for markdown, event, non full price and promotional activity
  • In appropriate area implementing and managing product-level planograms focusing upon key best selling areas
  • Ensuing Space allocation in Stores is reflected accurately, allocated to departments in line with strategy, driving appropriate in-store space mix
  • Maintaining Space Planning process
  • Cross-functional engagement, Project leadership, participation and process improvement
  • Demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities, creating a culture of teamwork and open communication, encouraging collaboration across departments to drive change initiatives;
  • Assessing team performance regularly and providing constructive feedback to facilitate professional growth and enhance skill sets; Acting as a liaison between management and staff to ensure alignment on change initiatives, addressing concerns and gathering feedback;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of mentorship and leadership initiatives.

 

Our requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree (preferably economics, product, production management, mathematics),
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required (best with retail background. Also consider positions as business analyst in logistics / supply chain field, product/store planner, allocator),
  • Understanding of retail environment is important,
  • Experience in team management, strong leadership and project management skills,
  • Business awareness,
  • Goal & Client orientation, decision making skills,
  • Very good communication and teamwork abilities – ability to work with functional leaders and members across all departments, ability to build and maintain relationships,
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment, stress tolerance, openness for changes,
  • Knowledge of Planning and Allocation processes and systems, analytical-thinking, planning, organizing and control,
  • Strong affinity for Pepco consumer and price,
  • Creativity will be an asset,
  • Knowledge of one the category management software,
  • Knowledge of one of the ERP-class solutions, BI, MS Office (especially Excel),
  • Fluency in English.
