Senior Pricing Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will join our central pricing team and play a key role in driving Pepco’s commercial and financial performance. You’ll develop data-driven pricing strategies that maximize profitability and revenue growth across multiple markets.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Pricing Analytics & Strategy

  • Lead advanced pricing analyses, scenario modeling, and profitability simulations
  • Develop and refine pricing strategies across product categories
  • Build and enhance pricing models to support smarter pricing decisions
  • Translate complex data (sales, costs, competitors, customer behavior) into actionable insights
  • Identify optimization opportunities and growth areas
  • Deliver clear, impactful reports and presentations to stakeholders

Execution & Collaboration

  • Monitor effectiveness of pricing strategy implementation
  • Define pricing guardrails across markets
  • Develop tools and dashboards to automate and improve pricing processes
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Buying, and Marketing teams
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies and standards

 

What we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • 4+ years in pricing or 6+ years in retail analytics / financial analysis / market research
  • Strong experience with large datasets, statistical analysis, and pricing models
  • Advanced Excel (data modeling), PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of SQL and R or Python are a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategy, margin management & price elasticity
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate data into business insights
  • Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Business-fluent English
