Pricing Analyst

About the role

As a Pricing Analyst, you will join our central pricing team and support Pepco's commercial and financial performance across multiple markets. You'll analyze pricing data, provide actionable insights, and contribute to the development of pricing strategies aimed at driving profitable growth.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Prepare and analyze pricing data using sales, cost, competitor, and market information to support pricing decisions.
• Monitor pricing performance, identify deviations from pricing guidelines, and highlight potential improvement opportunities.
• Create regular reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses to provide pricing insights to key stakeholders.
• Identify pricing anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues to ensure reliable reporting and analysis.
• Support pricing projects by delivering structured analyses, recommendations, and evaluation of pricing changes or promotions.
• Collaborate closely with Pricing, Finance, Commercial, and other business teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Pricing, Finance, Retail Analytics, Market Research, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work with large datasets, perform structured analyses, and interpret business metrics such as sales, margin, and turnover.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and well-organized approach to work.
• Good command of English (B2) and the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively within a team environment.
