Your responsibilities:
- Leading the team of 9-13 Accountants, Junior and Senior Accountants (including staff development, recruitment, setting goals, performance reviews and supervisory responsibilities);
- Coordinatig weekly and monthly operational activities, ensuring the right task split in the team and business continuity and following existing rules, e.g. as per Accounting Act, tax, customs;
- Project participation within group entities;
- Leading the day-to-day operation of stock accounting team, prioritizing work and optimizing resources ;
- Responsibility for monitoring the quality, compliance, efficiency and effectiveness of the processes;
- Cooperation with auditors;
- Managing day to day team’s issues, flagging and mitigating them and managing escalations;
- Monitoring and coaching team members in delivering the development tasks;
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with other finance teams and business area representatives across a wide range of areas throughout the organization;
- Building and strengthening a strong internal culture based on company’s values;
- Supporting Chief Accountant in strategy and decision making, cultivating a growth mindset and supporting Stock team development.
Our requirements:
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in accounting;
- University degree in finance related discipline;
- Understanding of GL systems;
- Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve issues impacting different interconnected systems;
- Managerial/supervisory experience is not required but can be an advantage;
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
- Demonstrating the ability to work with people at different levels;
- Good planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment ;
- Project management experience will be an asset;
- Fluency in English.
