Lead Compliance Operations Manager

Your key responsibilities will be:
• Acting as the key Compliance lead for Europe, leading the rollout and embedding of the compliance programme across multiple markets.
• Driving the development, implementation, and continuous evolution of compliance policies, frameworks, and standards in line with European and international regulatory requirements.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance, addressing concerns, and ensuring compliance considerations are effectively integrated into decision-making.
• Designing and overseeing key elements of the compliance programme, including due diligence, investigations, whistleblowing, training, communication, and risk assessments.
• Monitoring and assessing compliance effectiveness across the organisation, identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Delivering clear, data-driven insights and reporting to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders to support effective governance and decision-making.
• Leading data protection, privacy, and AI governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with GDPR and emerging EU regulations.
• Building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across diverse international markets.
• Acting as a visible ambassador for the Compliance function in Europe, contributing to the development of a strong ethical culture across the organisation.
• Collaborating closely with Legal, Risk, ESG, and business teams, supporting business growth while ensuring robust compliance standards.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
• Extensive experience in compliance, audit, assurance, or risk within a multinational organisation.
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, including data protection (GDPR); experience in ESG or AI governance is an advantage.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, or enhancing compliance programmes in complex and fast-evolving environments.
• Experience operating in international, multi-market environments.
• Background in Law, Audit, Accountancy, or Risk Management highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trust across a wide range of functions and geographies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into clear and actionable guidance.
• High level of integrity, sound judgement, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
• Fluency in English and Polish; additional European languages are a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 25% of the time).
