Junior Treasury Accountant

Location: 

Poznań, wielkopolskie, PL, 60-479

Your key responsibilities will be: 

 

1. Treasury Data, Analytics & AI

  • Analyse treasury data across:
    • FX exposures and hedging performance
    • Cash and liquidity positions
    • Debt and interest cost tracking
    • Intercompany funding flows
  • Support development of AI-enhanced analytics and forecasting tools, including:
    • Cash flow forecasting models
    • FX exposure analysis
    • Scenario and sensitivity modelling
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Excel, AI-supported tools).
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in treasury data to support decision-making.

 

2. Intercompany Funding, Dividends & Treasury Structuring

  • Support execution and tracking of intercompany funding structures, including loans and cash movements across jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the processing and monitoring of internal dividends and capital flows.
  • Support treasury activities related to new country openings, including:
    • Cash and banking setup
    • Funding structures
    • FX considerations
  • Gain exposure to complex and emerging market environments, including Ukraine, and associated treasury challenges.

 

3. Treasury Reporting & Controls

  • Support preparation of treasury reports for:
    • Monthly close
    • Management reporting
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and treasury-related controls.
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of treasury data across systems.

 

4. Financial Instruments & Hedge Support

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on:
    • FX hedging programmes
    • Derivative positions
  • Support documentation and processes related to **IFRS 9 hedge accounting.
  • Gain exposure to valuation and accounting of financial instruments.

 

5. Cash, Liquidity & Funding Support

  • Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity monitoring (including AI-supported models).
  • Assist in tracking utilisation of credit facilities and debt positions.
  • Provide analytical support for funding and refinancing activities.

 

6. Systems, Automation & AI Enablement

  • Support development and optimisation of Treasury Management System (TMS) reporting.
  • Assist with ERP–TMS data alignment and reconciliation.
  • Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives, including:
    • Process automation
    • Data pipelines
    • Use of AI tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI in treasury processes (forecasting, anomaly detection, reporting).

 

7. Stakeholder Exposure & Learning

  • Work closely with:
    • Treasury Front & Back Office
    • Group Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Legal
  • Support cross-functional projects and gain exposure to treasury strategy.
  • Build understanding of financial markets, risk management, and treasury operations.

 

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • 0–2 years’ experience in finance, data analytics, audit, consulting, or similar
  • Exposure to treasury, financial markets, or international environments is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related analytical field
  • Strong academic track record
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools advantageous
  • Interest in financial markets, FX, treasury, and AI / data analytics applications
  • Basic exposure to AI, automation, or data tools (e.g. Python, Power BI) advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work with large datasets and extract insights
  • Ambitious, high-potential individual with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Clear communicator with ability to work in an international environment
  • English proficiency minimum B2 (C1 preferred)
