Group Reporting Manager

Your key responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Ownership of the process underlying the preparation of the financial Pepco sub consolidation for the Group
  • Ensuring annual statutory accounts of Polish entities as well as monthly reporting of all Pepco entities, and any other compliance obligations are fulfilled
  • Control function of the status of the local statutory financial statements of all Pepco entities and overall, high level review of those financial stats
  • Partner with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits to secure non-negotiable reporting deadlines of Warsaw Stock Exchange
  • Work closely with the Legal, Treasury and Tax teams on Group projects such as corporate restructurings and internal/ external reporting requirements
  • Ensure ad-hoc financial reporting/ analysis as required including intercompany reporting and reporting of capital expenditures
  • Accountable for the preparation of financial information across among others Balance sheet, Cash flow, and CAPEX
  • Contributing to complex, internal projects e.g. standardizing end-to-end approach for Fixed Assets – budgeting, booking, activation, depreciation & valuation, retiring, and reporting for all Pepco countries.
  • Finance owner of the Group consolidation system and its development to ensure accelerated month-end close process with right first time delivery
  • Participates in developing of the Group accounting policies manual
  • Ensures analysis of new accounting standards and revisions to accounting policies, as necessary, engaging with relevant parties as appropriate
  • Direct line management responsibility for the Group Consolidation Accountants and provision of development opportunities

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Minimum 7 – 10 years of experience in large, complex businesses (MWIG40 type companies), with significant experience in financial reporting and consolidation, preferably with Big4 background.
  • University degree, preferably in the field of Accounting/ Financial reporting
  • CIMA/ ACCA/ or PIBR qualifications are required
  • Strong knowledge across multiple accounting standards including IFRS, Polish GAAP, and with the combination of audit and technical accounting knowledge
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP) and very good command of MS Office
  • Fluent English – C1/C2, other languages will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a “can-do” mindset and a proven track record of delivering complex projects 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively 
  • Well-organized, structured, and reliable, with strong attention to detail 
  • Effective communicator, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
  • Proactive approach to improving processes and optimizing ways of working
