Chief accountant

 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Keeping the books of account of the PEPCO entities in order to ensure compliance with biding provisions of law and accounting principles
  • Overseeing tax settlements of company in order to ensure correct settlement with the state budget
  • Overseeing preparation of  reports and information for public and finance institutions in order to provide necessary information
  • Drawing up an annual financial statements in accordance with the accounting act in order to fulfill the obligations
  • Managing the work of subordinate employees in terms of accounting and reporting in order to ensure proper keeping the books of account
  • Cooperating with companies and external institutions as regards audits (eg. auditing and consulting firms) and inspections (NBP, US, the Customs ets.)
  • Participating in projects within the Group and reports needs and ideas to contribute to the optimization of the company's operation

 

 

 

 

Our requirements:

 

  • University degree in finance/accounting
  • Minimum 3 years relevant as CA
  • Managerial/supervisory experience is required (team up to 30 people)
  • Very good knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act, the Corporate Income Tax Act
  • Fluency in English&Polish languages
  • Ability to work with people at different levels
  • Good planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting systems and applications (MS Dynamics-AX would be a great asset)
  • Computer literacy, especially MS Excel is a must
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve issues impacting different interconnected systems
  • Project management/participation experience will be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
