Control Audit Programme Leader

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and develop Pepco’s Group-wide Control Audit Programme, ensuring consistent and effective control testing across Finance, Compliance and Operations.
- Drive standardisation of audit methodologies, reporting and control testing approaches across the organisation.
- Use data, analytics and automation tools, including Power BI, Power Automate and AI solutions, to improve audit efficiency and insight.
- Partner with Finance, Compliance, IT and business stakeholders to strengthen controls and support risk management.
- Monitor remediation activities and provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support the continuous improvement and digital transformation of the Group’s control environment.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Controls, Risk Management or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and control testing methodologies.
- Experience leading large-scale control testing, assurance or audit programmes.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, data analytics and reporting tools.
- Exposure to automation, AI or advanced analytics within audit or controls environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA or similar) is an advantage.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Group locations (up to 20%).
