Central Planning Analyst

Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing reports for the Central Planning Department :
- Interpreting weekly and monthly planning reports and translating data into actionable insights
- Providing conclusions and recommendations to the Central Planning Manager
- Creating and analyzing ad-hoc reports (trade period, seasonality, country and product dimensions)
- Continuously improving reporting quality and efficiency
- Supporting the Central Planning Manager with analytical insights
- Refreshing company plans and providing initial forecasts
- Understanding dependencies between top-down and bottom-up planning approaches
- Preparing templates for sales and markdown mix meetings
- Developing stock guidelines for Product Planning
- Supporting Product Planning through cross-functional analysis and reporting
- Maintaining and supporting the planning critical path
- Understanding Product Planning processes (e.g. planning sessions, MFP)
- Participating in planning sessions across selected departments
- Analyzing the impact of Product Planning on other business processes
- Demonstrating company values and contributing to a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: economics, mathematics, logistics, production or product management, trade)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data
- Advanced Excel skills (essential); very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
- Good understanding of planning and reporting processes
- English at minimum B2 level
- Retail-oriented mindset and business awareness
- Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement attitude
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate insights clearly
