Responsibilities
- Execute Fixed Assets month-end closing activities, including fixed assets accounting, register maintenance, reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and post fixed assets-related transactions, including capitalizations, depreciation, disposals, accruals, and prepayments in line with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax requirements, and internal accounting standards within the Fixed Assets and RTR area.
- Monitor fixed assets balances and open items, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution and account reconciliation.
- Support the delivery of Fixed Assets activities in line with defined KPIs, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely month-end close.
- Prepare and maintain fixed assets and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Execute internal controls and support compliance with company policies and control requirements.
- Identify issues, risks, and process improvement opportunities, escalating them when necessary.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing explanations related to Fixed Assets accounting.
- Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth Fixed Assets operations.
- Participate in process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Support knowledge sharing and onboarding activities within the team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Fixed Assets, RTR, General Ledger, or a similar accounting role.
- Practical accounting experience and a strong understanding of tax regulations.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong computer literacy.
- Experience working with financial and accounting systems; SAP experience will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented mindset, openness to change, and a continuous improvement approach.
- Good command of English (minimum B1/B2 level).
