RTR Accountant
Your Responsibilities
- Posting accounting documents, processing data, and executing and ensuring compliance with month-end closing activities.
- Preparing and posting payroll-related entries, accruals, prepayments, and VAT postings in accordance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal standards within the RTR area.
- Monitoring open items, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring timely reconciliation and clearance of balance sheet accounts.
- Ensuring the delivery of RTR activities in line with defined quality KPIs and agreed timelines.
- Implementing and complying with internal controls related to RTR processes in accordance with internal procedures and control requirements.
- Identifying discrepancies, resolving issues, and carrying out escalation activities when necessary.
- Cooperating with auditors and other finance and accounting departments.
- Participating in standardization, automation, and internal improvement projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge and practical experience with accounting standards such as local GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting regulations.
- Good knowledge of tax regulations.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborative mindset, solution-oriented approach, and flexibility.
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with SAP will be considered an advantage.
