Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Execute month-end O2C activities, including closing tasks, reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
  • Process O2C transactions accurately and in compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts, bank-related items, and intercompany balances, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Perform internal controls and support compliance with accounting, tax, and company requirements.
  • Identify process risks and improvement opportunities, proposing corrective actions where needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth O2C operations.
  • Participate in process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and onboarding activities within the team.

 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of financial/accounting systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and continuous improvement approach.
  • Good command of English (minimum B1/B2 level).
