Group Quality and Reporting Manager
The Group Internal Audit team is responsible for creating and delivering Pepco groups strategic risk-based internal audit plan in accordance with Pepco’s internal audit charter and the professional standards for internal auditing promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
It also provides advisory services to management, designed to add value and improve the Group’s operations.
This Group Quality and Reporting Manager role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the function’s effectiveness by overseeing the quality of audit processes, methodologies, and deliverables, as well as manage audit reporting, support on audit committee reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the quality of the audit process, ensuring compliance with audit methodology, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality assurance programme for internal audit, risk and controls functions.
- Lead on audit action item monitoring and closure programme.
- Provide support, guidance and coaching to business stakeholders on mitigating risks and closing audit actions.
- Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and recommend changes.
- Develop, refine, and distribute periodic reports for senior management and core stakeholders on internal audit, internal control programmes and factory audit processes.
- Collaborate with auditors and other departments to ensure alignment and communication of key audit findings, internal control findings, risk areas and recommendations.
- Track and report KPIs related to the internal audit functions quality and efficiency.
- Engage in and lead internal audits where required across the Group.
- Support on ad hoc reviews, management requests and investigations.
- Ensure that the purpose, authority and responsibility of the Group Internal Audit team is always followed.
- Own relationships with business stakeholders across the Group.
- Manage audit actions to closure with business stakeholders.
Join Pepco, if you have:
- 5-7+ years of business, risk, internal control or audit experience gained within a multinational group and/or a large accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Professional Audit Qualification (e.g. CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA)
- Good working knowledge of Internal Audit and Internal Control frameworks methodology, ideally within the retail sector.
- Good knowledge of IPPF and IIA standards.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Structured, critical thinker who can work independently and self-sufficiently with little hand holding.
- Hardworking, diligent and strong attention to detail.
- An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Expert in effective and concise reporting and communication.
- Gather, analyse, and evaluate facts and prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- Openness to business travels up to 20% to group locations.
