Your responsibilities:

• Supporting Head of Marketing and Buying function in providing data for Strategic Plan, as well as Annual budgets and Forecasts for: opex, capex, income and headcount,
• Identifying key drivers of performance for the supported function (Marketing & Buying),
• Analysing any adverse variance to the plan and provide explanation why this happened,
• Providing explanation and insights of the current performance,
• Supporting evaluation of marketing activities and their impact on sales,
• Challenging Function Heads if planning assumptions are unrealistic or may create unreasonable budget fat
• Building and maintaining both ways communication with Functional Managers,

• Tracking performance of enhancement initiatives and cost cutting activities,

• Providing an analytical support for the key strategic and central business projects and initiatives;
• Creating business case with cashflow projection and calculate rate of returns;   
• Close collaboration with the Head of function in order to identify areas of productivity and results improvement;

Our requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting;
• Experience in financial analysis, controlling or financial planning (at least 2 years);
• Commercial awareness and experience of acting as a trusted business partner to senior colleagues;
• Proactive attitude, ambition and self-motivation, with a “can-do” attitude;
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Multi-tasking skills, and ability to operate within tight deadlines;
• Strong impact and credibility. Ability and confidence to influence and challenge decision-making;
• Strong technical skills - advanced Excel;
• Fluent communication in English;
• Retail / FMCG experience would be an advantage.
